The 13th Annual Twisted Lines Kite Festival
Topeka, Kansas
June 3, 4 and 5th
Come and fly with the Topeka Kite Flyers and help raise money toward the American Diabetes Association. This event will include AKA sanctioned competition, fun fly, buggy races, candy drops, kite store, t-shirts and concessions.
Friday start at 5pm till ?, night fly.
Saturday-10-4 with indoor fly 7-9pm and live auction.
Sunday 10-4.
This is free to the public. All donations go toward
the ADA.
Competition Events
Novice: 1-rectangle, 2-circle, 8– pyramid
Experience: 3-circle over diamond, 04-launch, circle
and land, 5-lap and snap
Masters: 5– lap and snap,6-axels, 12-stops
Quad open: 5-swing, 7-arc circle, 9– clock tower
Other events will be determined as competitors sign up.

Friday-5pm till ? Barbecue and night fly. Bring covered dish. Brats and burgers provided.
Saturday-10am—Opening ceremony and registration
11am-Experienced precision and ballet
12 noon-Novice precision
1pm– Masters precision and ballet
2pm-Buggy race
5pm– common place to eat, to be announced.
6-9pm indoor fly and auction
Sunday 10am-Fun fly
12 noon-fighter kite
1:30 buggy race
Candy, drop/balloon drop, demo’s, mass ascention will be throughout each day
Sign up for registration day of competition, starting Saturday. One time fee $10.00 per person for AKA points.
